I'm posting this from my mom's iBook (which she was,
um, kind enough to let me borrow) at Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown
Portland, connecting to the Internet with an Apple AirPort card and free
wireless Internet access provided by PersonalTelco.
On the bus on the way here, I finished packaging up
version 4.7 of the source code of this site.
I'm on my way to Powell's Technical Books to see what
they have on studying for the A+ certification. I'm sure they have a
whole aisle of A+ books; maybe one of them will be helpful to someone like
me who already knows most of the material very well but just needs to work
on memorizing the more trivial details? Quick, what does a platen do, how
many transistors are used to store one bit in SRAM, and is 170h the
default I/O address for the primary or secondary IDE controller?
Bleh.
