After four years of neglect, I finally got irritated enough with advertising banners to update BannerFilter's data files. If you had removed the update script from cron because you noticed nothing was being updated, you can put it back in now.

If you'd like to contribute, e-mail me the address of a page that has an annoying ad on it (don't just send the URL of the ad graphic itself, because these days it seems most ads are generated by JavaScript and it's better to block the script).

Maybe someday I'll release a new version of BannerFilter itself. I was working on it for awhile, but got bored.
